Terms of Service

By using PingBase, you agree to these terms. Please read them carefully.

1. Service Description

PingBase provides website and endpoint uptime monitoring, heartbeat monitoring for scheduled tasks, public status pages, and alerting via email, Slack, webhook, and other channels.

2. Account

• You must provide a valid email address to create an account.
• You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure.
• You must be at least 16 years old to use PingBase.
• One person or organization per free account.

3. Free and Paid Plans

• Free plans include limited monitors and features as described on our pricing page.
• Paid plans are billed monthly or annually via LemonSqueezy.
• Prices may change with 30 days notice.
• You can cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.

4. Refund Policy

We offer a 14-day money-back guarantee on all paid plans. If you are not satisfied within 14 days of your first payment, contact us for a full refund. After 14 days, payments are non-refundable.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use PingBase to monitor endpoints you do not own or have permission to monitor
• Use the service to perform DDoS attacks, load testing, or any form of abuse
• Attempt to circumvent usage limits or access controls
• Resell or redistribute the service without permission
• Use the service for any illegal purpose

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

6. Service Availability (Important)

PingBase is provided "as-is" and "as-available".

While we strive for high reliability, we do not guarantee:

• 100% uptime of the PingBase service itself
• That every outage of your monitored endpoints will be detected
• That every alert will be delivered successfully
• Any specific response time for checks or alerts

PingBase is a best-effort monitoring tool, not a guaranteed SLA provider.

7. Limitation of Liability (Important)

To the maximum extent permitted by law, PingBase shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to:

• Loss of revenue or profits due to undetected outages
• Loss of data
• Business interruption
• Cost of substitute services

Our total liability to you for any claim arising from the use of PingBase shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

You acknowledge that uptime monitoring is an aid, not a guarantee. You remain responsible for your own infrastructure and disaster recovery.

8. Intellectual Property

• PingBase and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by us.
• Your data remains yours. We do not claim ownership of your monitoring data.
• The "Powered by PingBase" badge on free status pages may not be removed.

9. Data and Privacy

Your use of PingBase is also governed by our Privacy Policy.

10. Termination

• You can delete your account at any time.
• We may terminate or suspend your account for violation of these terms.
• Upon termination, your data will be deleted within 30 days.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. Material changes will be notified via email.

12. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of China (Taiwan). Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Hsinchu, Taiwan.
