PingBase respects your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect, why, and how we handle it.

1. What We Collect

When you join our waitlist:

• Email address, to notify you when we launch.

When you use our service (after launch):

• Email address and account credentials
• URLs and endpoints you choose to monitor
• Monitoring results (uptime status, response times, error codes)
• Payment information, processed securely by LemonSqueezy/Stripe. We never store your credit card details.
• Basic usage data to improve our service

2. How We Use Your Data

• To provide the monitoring and alerting service
• To send alerts when your endpoints go down
• To display your public status page (only data you choose to make public)
• To send product updates (you can unsubscribe anytime)
• To process payments

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing.

3. Third-Party Services

• LemonSqueezy / Stripe for payment processing
• Google Forms for waitlist collection (pre-launch)
• Railway / Hetzner for server hosting

4. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored on secure servers with HTTPS encryption. We take reasonable measures to protect your data, but no system is 100% secure.

5. Data Retention

• Waitlist emails: kept until you unsubscribe or request deletion
• Account data: kept while your account is active
• Monitoring data: kept for up to 90 days (longer on paid plans)
• Account deletion: personal data removed within 30 days

6. Your Rights

You can:

• Access your data
• Correct inaccurate information
• Delete your data
• Unsubscribe from marketing emails
• Export your data

7. Cookies

Minimal cookies for authentication only. No advertising cookies.

8. Children

Not for users under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
